Biography

Beatrice Agujiobi is the program director of the Enugu State Agency for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-Formal Education. She received her PhD in educational administration and planning at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She spent her professional career in the Enugu State Post-Primary School Management Board and lectured for six years at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

For over twenty years, Dr Agujiobi has worked with the Women Development Program. For three years, she was the director of the Better Life Program, a program designed for the emancipation and empowerment of women in Nigeria. She has written over twenty scholarly articles and given more than fifteen papers and presentations at national conferences. She has jointly organized workshops, conferences, seminars and evaluated, reviewed and reproduced curriculum for adult learners in Enugu State, Nigeria. She has also been active in designing and implementing adult literacy programs in Nigeria.
