- I've learned so much in the sense that there were so many questions that were unanswered in my head about literacy before I came here. I learned how to go deep. Now I have an idea of what to do, ideas I need to discuss with my superiors. Technology is a problem but I've learned about mobile alternatives.
- -Bernadette H. Mukulu, Senior Education Officer, Department of Adult and Continuing Education, Namibia
- I have benefited a lot from the SLTP'98 both professionally and personally. On the professional side, my confidence has been upgraded, both as trainer and as researcher. It is good to be a trainee--on the other side of the fence.
- -Ophelia P. Veniegas, Senior Specialist in Research and Training, SEAMEO/INNOTECH, Philippines
- I've learned a lot about tapping into resources that are already there and how to tap the talents of the Basotho people.
- -Elizabeth Dabengwa, Program Officer, Lesotho Association of Non-formal Education (LANFE), Lesotho
- My plan is to take everything I have gathered here to strengthen my course, my research, and my thinking. Much has been stimulated.
- -Alice Nankya Ndidde, Lecturer, Institute of Adult and Continuing Education, Makerere University, Uganda
