Guiding Principles for Training

The following principles guided the development of this training module:

Offer an in-depth orientation to TV411 Resources so participants have a solid foundation.
Model lesson plans so participants can experience the classroom dynamic and witness the lesson plans in action.
Include small group activities in most lesson plans; encourage participants to work in small groups to bond with peers and engage in the activity.
Give participants an opportunity to explore the materials and reflect on ways the materials could support the teachers’ methods and their learners’ needs.
